THE BASICS
Pay :
We offer this position a competitive pay range of $20 - $24 per hour .
Schedule :
You will work an 8-hour shift, Monday through Friday , right here in Sachse. There's no need to travel between offices-our modern practice operates from a single, convenient location.

YOUR DAY AS AN ORTHODONTIC DENTAL ASSISTANT
Each day, you will step into a vibrant, modern office where your main focus will be providing exceptional chair-side clinical care to patients. You will handle everything from photos, x-rays, and intra-oral scanning to sterilization and lab work, ensuring every patient receives the highest standard of care. You will place and remove arch wires, assist with bonding brackets and attachments for aligner patients, and give clear instructions as you help patients through their treatment journey. Alongside your clinical responsibilities, you will occasionally engage in administrative and marketing tasks.
REQUIREMENTS FOR AN ORTHODONTIC DENTAL ASSISTANT
High school diploma or equivalent 1+ year(s) of orthodontic experience Registered Dental Assistant in TX Experience with bonding brackets and attachments for aligner patients Experience with intra-oral scanning using a 3D scanner Proficiency in orthodontic photos and x-rays Knowledge of sterilization procedures and skill in giving orthodontic instructions Ability to place and remove arch wires, perform reties, and work with rubber bands Strong work ethic and positive attitude Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Team player with excellent communication skills Experience delivering expanders and appliances, managing difficult procedures, making retainers, and 3D printing models is preferred.
