Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Dental Assistant to join our team and provide exceptional patient care in our dental practice. The ideal candidate will assist our dental professionals in delivering quality dental services and ensuring a positive experience for our patients. Ideal candidate would have a minimum of 3 years of experience .
Duties:
  • Assist dentists during procedures by handing them the appropriate tools and equipment.
  • Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations and procedures.
  • Take and develop dental X-rays (medical imaging) as instructed by dentists.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans.
  • Provide support to patients before, during, and after dental procedures to ensure their comfort.
  • Perform various office tasks, such as scheduling appointments and managing medical records using dental software.
  • Sterilize dental instruments following aseptic technique guidelines.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience working in a dental office.
  • Knowledge of general dentistry procedures.
  • Familiarity with x-ray procedures.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with patients of all ages.
  • Registered as a dental assistant with the Texas State Dental Board.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks efficiently, and work well in a fast-paced environment.
