Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dental clinic. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice. This position requires a blend of clinical skills and administrative support, making it essential for candidates to be well-versed in various aspects of dental assisting. Responsibilities Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and setting up necessary materials. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Maintain accurate medical records and update patient information in the clinic's systems. Manage appointment scheduling, including confirming appointments and handling cancellations. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Monitor and record vital signs as required before procedures. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow within the clinic. Experience Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred, particularly in areas such as General and Implant dentistry., especially Open Dental is highly desirable. Knowledge of medical imaging techniques and protocols is a plus. Experience as a dental receptionist or managing medical records will be beneficial. Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care are essential. Ability to work effectively within a team while also being self-motivated.
