Experience & Key Responsibilities:

Assist orthodontist chairside during procedures, including adjustments, banding, and appliance placement Take and process orthodontic records such as impressions, photos, and digital scans Prepare and sterilize instruments and maintain proper infection control protocols Educate patients and families on oral hygiene, appliance care, and treatment expectations Monitor patient progress and support treatment flow to ensure efficient daily scheduling Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by management

Requirements:

Previous orthodontic or dental assisting experience preferred Knowledge of orthodontic procedures, instruments, and sterilization protocols is a plus Strong communication skills and ability to work well with children and families Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities Positive attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment Team members are expected to uphold the culture outlined in the SDB Handbook, with a focus on our core values and any additional responsibilities as defined.
