Dental Assistant

Job Overview:

We are seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team. For Wednesdays The ideal candidate should have a passion for the dental field and exceptional organizational skills. Experience needed.

Duties:

• Greet patients and visitors with a welcoming demeanor
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments
• Maintain electronic health records using Open Dental software
• Assist with medical terminology and vital signs when necessary
• Provide support with dental assisting tasks as needed
• Familiar with sterilize and dental instrument set up.
• Handle receptionist duties such as answering phone calls and managing patient inquiries

Skills:

• Proficiency in Dentistry procedures
• Experience with Open Dental software for health record management. Willing to train.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy. Willing to train.
• Familiarity with dental imaging techniques.
• Ability to perform basic dental assisting tasks.
