We are looking to expand some days and are looking to hire a Hygiene/Dental Assistant, where your energy and expertise will directly contribute to providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced, friendly environment. In this vital role, you will support our Hygienist by taking x rays, polishing, flossing, scheduling, setting up rooms and helping cultivate a warm and welcoming enviorment. You would also assist the Dentist in crown seats, niteguard scans and deliveries. We would love if you had both hygiene and treatment skills so we can have you float between the two! Duties Assist Hygienist by polishing and flossing Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, ensuring aseptic technique and infection control standards are maintained Take and develop dental X-rays using digital imaging Dentrix, ensuring patient safety and comfort Collect vital signs and medical history information to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning Manage medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and accuracy Support administrative tasks such as dental receptionist duties, scheduling appointments, and managing patient flow efficiently Use 3D scanners and other advanced dental technology to enhance diagnostic capabilities and treatment precision Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, post-treatment care, and the importance of regular dental visits Experience Previous experience working in a dental clinic setting is highly preferred Familiarity with dental terminology, medical terminology, and medical coding processes is advantageous Hands-on experience with dental assisting techniques including four-handed dentistry and chairside assisting is essential Knowledge of infection control protocols, aseptic techniques, anatomy knowledge related to oral structures, and radiography procedures is required Proficiency in Dentrix Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance standards to protect patient privacy We are excited to meet you and welcome you to a fun office that thrives on patient care, gaining meaningful and lasting relationships, sprinkled with an amazing Dentist who loves to teach and have fun.
