Join us in our beautiful office in Taylorsville, UT. This position is for 29 hours per week with the option to work another 10+ hours at our 2nd location in West Valley. The ideal candidate will have experience as an orthodontic assistant and will provide exceptional chairside assistance, support orthodontic procedures, and ensure a smooth patient experience. This role requires a strong commitment to skilled care and positive interactions with patients. Responsibilities Assist orthodontist during various procedures including bracket placement, adjustments, records, and appliance fittings Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and materials in accordance with aseptic techniques and infection control standards Take X-rays and intraoral scans Manage patient records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations Educate patients on orthodontic care, appliance maintenance, and oral hygiene Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and answering phones when needed Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment Skills Orthodontic assisting experience preferred Experience with dental imaging techniques including X-ray and 3D scanner technology Band fitting, bracket placement, impressions & photography Excellent communication skills to educate patients effectively
