Job Title:
Dental AssistantOverview:
- Join our dental team as a Dental Assistant and play a crucial role in providing quality care to our patients. As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with our dental professionals to ensure efficient operation of the practice and exceptional patient experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Assist dentists during procedures, including pediatric, implant and prosthodontics, by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs.
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations.
- Take and develop X-rays using digital systems.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper documentation.
- Provide chairside assistance to dentists in various procedures.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices.
- Perform infection control procedures to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Utilize 3D scanners for digital impressions.
- Manage dental reception duties when needed.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in dental terminology, medical terminology, and handling medical records.
- Knowledge of infection control protocols.
- Ability to operate X-ray equipment and digital systems effectively.
- Familiarity with prosthodontics procedures is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
