Full Job Description Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist and/or Hygienist during dental procedures
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
• Take and develop dental x-rays
• Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
• Perform basic laboratory tasks, such as pouring impressions and trimming models
• Schedule patient appointments and maintain accurate patient records
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized dental operatory

Skills:

• Proficiency in Dentrix
• Knowledge of dentistry principles and techniques
• Ability to operate and maintain medical imaging equipment
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of dental/hygiene assisting techniques and procedures
• Proficient in-patient assessment and charting
• Solid understanding of dental anatomy As a Dental/Hygiene Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting the dentist in providing quality dental care to patients.
