Wed and Fridays, 8-5 pm Ma's Family & Cosmetic Dentistry Alexandria, VA Job Details Part-time | Full-time 23 hours ago Qualifications Teamwork Attention to detail Dentrix Adaptability Certified Dental Assistant Full Job Description MA's Family & Cosmetic Dentistry is a family-friendly, state-of-the-art dental practice seeking an experienced, motivated, and compassionate Certified Dental Assistant to join our team part-time (Wednesday-Friday and 2 Saturdays a month).
Schedule:
Wednesday & Friday:
8:00 AM-5:00 PM We are a comprehensive general practice that provides a wide range of services, including restorative, cosmetic, implant, oral surgery, and pediatric dentistry. This is an excellent opportunity for an assistant who enjoys variety, learning new skills, and working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities Include:
Assisting with restorative, cosmetic, implant, and oral surgery procedures Placing and polishing composite fillings efficiently and beautifully Taking digital x-rays Using digital scanners for intraoral scans Fabricating bite guards and bleaching trays Performing in-office whitening procedures Assisting with pediatric dentistry Adjusting partials and dentures Maintaining sterilization and operatory organization Supporting doctors and team members with a positive attitude and excellent communication
Qualifications:
Current Dental Assistant certification/board certification required Experience with Dentrix preferred Experience with digital x-rays and intraoral scanning technology Strong clinical skills and attention to detail Positive, dependable, and team-oriented personality Organized, clean, and proactive Compassionate with a gentle chairside manner Ability to adapt and thrive in a busy environment Excellent communication skills and professionalism We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys dentistry, takes initiative, works well with others, and is excited to continue growing professionally .
