Job Description

Duties:
  • Assist the dentist during dental procedures
  • Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
  • Take dental radiographs (x-rays)
  • Sterilize dental instruments and equipment
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records and documentation
  • Perform patient assessments, including taking vital signs and recording medical history
  • Assist with dental lab work, including pouring and trimming models
  • Use computer software system for scheduling appointments and managing patient records
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments
  • Current X-ray certification is preferred
  • 2+ years of dental assisting experience preferred
  • Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team.
