The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout their visit. This position requires proficiency in various dental procedures and the ability to assist the dentist effectively while maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by providing chairside support. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available. Take dental X-rays, adhering to safety protocols. Maintain accurate patient records, including medical documentation and medical records. I tero Experience Preferred to have experience with Open Dental software for patient management. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols. Should be comfortable doing General Dentistry related chair side assisting. Qualifications Previous experience in a dental clinic is required. Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and procedures. Familiarity with aseptic techniques and infection control practices is essential. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Certification in dental assisting is preferred but not mandatory. A bilingual candidate ( Spanish speaker) will be preferred not required A commitment to continuous learning in the field of dentistry is encouraged.
