Shift:

Day shift: Monday-Thursday, Fridays on the 1st and 3rd weeks, and the 4th Saturday of the month.

Job Responsibilities Include:

Lead and support the dental assisting team to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care. Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, including implant and restorative dentistry. Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, instruments, and equipment in compliance with infection control protocols. Manage ordering and inventory of dental supplies and materials. Provide training, mentorship, and guidance to dental assistants and new staff. Take and process digital x-rays, impressions, and intraoral scans as needed. Document patient information accurately in the practice management system. Deliver excellent patient care by ensuring comfort and addressing patient questions before, during, and after treatment. Support front office and back-office coordination to maintain smooth daily operations.

Requirements:

Skills - Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Knowledge of implant procedures and advanced dental treatments is a plus. Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to patient care and safety. Experience - Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Dental Assistant; lead or supervisory experience strongly preferred. License/Certification - Dental Assistant certification in Virginia. X-ray certification in Virginia.
