Dental Orthodontic Assistant

Hamer and Glassick Orthodontics is looking for a full-time Orthodontic Assistant to join our fantastic team in our Charlottesville and Crozet offices. We are looking for an individual who is confident, highly personable, responsible, and willing to learn and grow with our practice. Previous orthodontic experience is not required! We want individuals who are interested in being a valuable asset to our caring and rewarding family-oriented team and desire to make a difference in our patients lives--we can provide any training that you need. Salary commensurate with experience. This position is for 4-5 days/week and you will work in both our Charlottesville and Crozet locations. The hours are typically from 8:00am - 5:00pm--NO

EVENINGS OR WEEKENDS!

!! Duties & Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

• Deliver quality care to each and every patient
• Educate patients about oral hygiene and provide postoperative instructions
• Prepare tray set-ups for orthodontic procedures
• Effectively direct patient flow through clear communication and team work
• Sterilize and disinfect all used equipment and instruments
• Document all procedures performed in treatment chart
• Must comply with all standards and protocols of

OSHA & HIPPA
