Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic dental team as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA), where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting the smooth operation of our dental practice. As an RDA, you will assist dentists during procedures, manage patient records, and ensure a safe, sterile environment. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help create a positive experience for every patient, from routine check-ups to complex treatments. Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments following infection control protocols using aseptic techniques. Assist dentists chairside during various procedures including restorative, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry treatments. Take and develop dental X-rays and utilize medical imaging technology such as 3D scanners to support accurate diagnoses. Manage patient records efficiently within EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Epic while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy. Perform vital signs assessments and monitor patient comfort throughout procedures, especially in pediatric dentistry cases. Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, greeting patients as a dental receptionist, and managing medical documentation and records. Demonstrate proficiency in dental terminology, medical coding, and understanding of anatomy to facilitate effective communication within the team. Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment adhering to infection control standards and OSHA guidelines. Qualifications Valid certification as a Registered Dental Assistant with current licensure. Proven experience working in a dental clinic environment with familiarity in general dentistry procedures. Strong knowledge of dental assisting techniques including chairside assisting, aseptic technique, and infection control protocols. Proficiency with EMR systems such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Epic; experience with medical documentation and records management is highly desirable. Ability to operate dental equipment including X-ray machines and 3D scanners confidently and safely. Knowledge of pediatric dentistry practices and experience working with pediatric patients is preferred. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain procedures clearly using appropriate dental terminology. Pay:
$15.00 - $21.00 per hour
