Dental Assistant Oral Surgery

Currently in need of Oral Surgery Assistant/Dental. This individual must have experience in

DENTAL / ORAL SURGERY

Current CPR Certification is required. We offer PTO, paid holidays ,Health Insurance after 90days of employment. After 9 months of employment you will be eligible to achieve DAANCE certification(Dental Assisting Anesthesia Certification)

Responsibilities:

• Greet and seat patients with confidence and assurance .
• Prepare the operating room for surgical procedures, ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are available and in working order.
• Assist the Oral Surgeon during procedures by passing instruments and suctioning as well as consultations and post operative checks.
• Placing surgical monitors, recording vital signs as well as recovering surgical patients
• Anticipate the needs of the surgeon and other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient procedures,consults and post operative appointments.
• Take digital x-rays and CBCT's.
• Prepare and maintain surgical instruments and equipment for sterilization.
• Document patient information, surgical procedures, and other medical health issues

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working in an ambulatory surgery center/Oral Surgery /Dental .
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Possess manual dexterity for assisting with the ability of lifting 25 pounds.
