Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Dental Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service on the phone while managing a variety of administrative tasks related to our incoming calls and our patients experience while making calls to our office. Responsibilities Help patients with their concerns over the phone with professionalism and enthusiasm Schedule appointments efficiently using dental practice management software such as Dentrix or Open Dental Review documentation for completeness and accuracy, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations Manage multi-line phone systems, handle patient inquiries with excellent phone etiquette, and coordinate patient intake and follow-ups Support the other team members of this department by assisting with patient concerns Monitor the performance of the team and give solutions to improve our patients experience while calling the office Qualifications Proven experience in a dental environment with strong familiarity of dental terminology Proficiency in dental practice management software such as Dentrix or Open Dental; Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and health information management standards to ensure confidentiality and compliance Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and typing accuracy (10 key typing) Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse patient populations effectively Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation review and office management tasks Outstanding customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette and clerical support experience Join us to make a difference in patients' lives by providing top-tier administrative support within a vibrant dental practice.
