We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and dependable Bilingual Dental Assistant (English/Spanish) to become a valued member of our growing team. Spanish fluency is required to effectively communicate with and support our diverse patient community. In this role, you will assist the dentist during procedures, take digital radiographs, prepare treatment rooms, maintain sterilization and infection control standards, educate patients, and help ensure the smooth daily operation of the practice. Duties Assist dentists chairside during a variety of dental procedures, including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments, materials, and supplies using aseptic techniques to ensure infection control compliance Take and develop dental X-rays and medical imaging such as 3D scans while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy Manage patient records using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Curve, Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Epic to ensure accurate medical documentation and coding Monitor vital signs and assist with pediatric dentistry procedures to ensure patient comfort and safety Provide excellent customer service as a dental receptionist by scheduling appointments, verifying insurance coverage, and managing medical records Maintain a clean and organized clinic environment by following infection control protocols and sterilization procedures Requirements Proven experience working in a dental clinic environment with knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy Proficiency in dental assisting techniques including chairside assisting, X-ray processing, and vital signs measurement Familiarity with EMR systems such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Epic for managing medical records and documentation Knowledge of infection control standards and aseptic techniques to prevent cross-contamination Ability to perform medical imaging procedures including X-ray and 3D scanner operation with precision Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality at all times Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members including dental receptionists and specialists in general dentistry, prosthodontics, or endodontics Join us in making a difference by providing top-quality dental care!
