Duties:
  • Assist the dentist during dental procedures
  • Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
  • Take dental x-rays
  • Perform dental receptionist duties, such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records
  • Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
  • Perform basic laboratory tasks, such as pouring and trimming models
Requirements:
  • Certification or diploma in Dental Assisting
  • Proficiency in dental software systems, such as Dentrix
  • Knowledge of infection control protocols and aseptic techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality guidelines
  • Ability to take accurate vital signs This position requires a dedicated individual with strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dental office.
