Job Description

Davenport Dental is seeking an experienced, caring, and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our family-owned and operated practice. We pride ourselves on providing high-quality dentistry in a welcoming, patient-centered environment. We are looking for a team member who is professional, dependable, and passionate about helping patients achieve excellent oral health while contributing to a positive office culture. Schedule Monday -
Wednesday:
7:00am to 4:00pm Thursdays 7:00am to 2:00pm One Friday per month Full-Time What You'll Do Assist the doctor during a variety of dental procedures while ensuring patient comfort and clinical efficiency Prepare treatment rooms and maintain a clean, organized, and sterile environment Take high-quality dental radiographs Sterilize instruments and follow all OSHA, CDC, and infection control protocols Accurately chart treatment and update patient records Educate patients on oral hygiene, treatment recommendations, and post-operative care Assist with impressions, temporary restorations, and other clinical procedures Help maintain smooth patient flow throughout the day Support fellow team members and contribute to a collaborative office environment Maintain operatories, sterilization areas, and clinical inventory Deliver an exceptional patient experience from check-in to check-out Qualifications Current Washington State Dental Assistant Registration Current CPR/BLS Certification Minimum of 2 years of dental assisting experience required Strong knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and infection control standards Experience with Open Dentalor similar dental software preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment Positive attitude and strong team-player mentality Participate in cross-training between clinical and front office tasks , including answering phones, assisting with patient communication, and helping manage patient flow when needed.
