Job Description

```Job Summary``` We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant and a dental receptionist to join our team. The Dental Assistant will work closely with the dentist and other dental professionals to provide high-quality dental care to our patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dental assisting and possess excellent communication and organizational skills. ```Responsibilities```
  • Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
  • Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
  • Assist the dentist during procedures by handing them instruments, suctioning, and providing support
  • Take and develop dental x-rays
  • Prepare materials for impressions and restorations
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices
  • Maintain accurate patient records
  • Schedule appointments and manage the dental office's appointment calendar
  • Perform basic administrative tasks as needed ```Qualifications```
  • Completion of an accredited dental assisting program or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, dental procedures, and dental anatomy
  • Proficiency in medical coding and documentation
  • Experience with medical imaging techniques such as digital radiography
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and adherence to patient privacy guidelines
  • Strong understanding of aseptic technique and infection control protocols Dental receptionist should have good communication skills, basic computer skills and practice management software skills.
