Job Description
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Orthodontic Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and assisting in orthodontic procedures. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment.Responsibilities:
- Assist the orthodontist during patient appointments and procedures
- Manage and maintain patient medical records using electronic systems
- Take and process X-Rays as required
- Utilize CAD software for orthodontic treatment planning
- Familiarity with medical imaging techniques
- Provide support in dental receptionist duties when needed
- Knowledge of medical terminology for effective communication with patients and staff
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft or Epic software for patient management
Experience:
- Prior experience in assisting orthodontic procedures is preferred
- Familiarity with medical records systems and X-Ray technology
- Proficiency in CAD software for orthodontic treatment planning is a plus
- Experience working as a dental receptionist would be beneficial
- Knowledge of medical terminology is essential for effective communication
