Job Description

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Orthodontic Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and assisting in orthodontic procedures. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist the orthodontist during patient appointments and procedures
  • Manage and maintain patient medical records using electronic systems
  • Take and process X-Rays as required
  • Utilize CAD software for orthodontic treatment planning
  • Familiarity with medical imaging techniques
  • Provide support in dental receptionist duties when needed
  • Knowledge of medical terminology for effective communication with patients and staff
  • Proficiency in Eaglesoft or Epic software for patient management
Experience:
  • Prior experience in assisting orthodontic procedures is preferred
  • Familiarity with medical records systems and X-Ray technology
  • Proficiency in CAD software for orthodontic treatment planning is a plus
  • Experience working as a dental receptionist would be beneficial
  • Knowledge of medical terminology is essential for effective communication
