Current Washington State Dental Assistant Registration Certificate Schedule :
1.0 FTE; 40 hours/week; Day Shift (0700-1730)
Summary:
Jefferson Healthcare is seeking a full-time Dental Assistant to become an integral part of our onsite and mobile Dental Clinic. In this position, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our patients receive the highest standard of care. Responsibilities include greeting patients, reviewing their medical and dental histories, preparing them for treatment, and assisting the dentist or hygienist during procedures. You will also be responsible for taking X-rays and ensuring that all equipment and materials are properly sterilized. A current BLS/CPR Healthcare Provider certification, Blood Borne Pathogens training, and a valid Washington State Dental Assistant Registration Certificate are required. Additionally, familiarity with CDC sterilization standards, patient safety protocols, and OSHA and WISHA regulations is essential.
