Dental Assistant Specialist - Pediatrics

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team at a thriving Pediatric dental office.

The ideal candidate will assist our dental professionals in providing quality care to our patients.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
• Assist dentists during procedures
• Take Digital dental x-rays
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices
• Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix software
• Utilize I-Tero scanner equipment as needed
• Follow aseptic techniques to ensure a clean and safe environment
• Assist with pediatric patient

Skills:

• Proficiency in Dentrix software for managing patient records
• Knowledge of dental and medical terminology
• Experience in dental assisting
• Familiarity with aseptic techniques for infection control
