We are looking for Dental Assistant-Float to join our clinics! Our Dental Assistants register and logs patients appropriately, initiates dental records, resource information. They are responsible for performing procedures various procedures including but not limited to cleaning, sterilizing, placing temporary fillings, and temporary crowns. Our Dental Assistants act as a Chairside Assistant, they operate suction equipment to keep patient's mouths free and clear, plus cleaning and sterilizing dental instruments. They also operate x-ray machines; takes bitewing and periodical x-rays. Plus, other duties as assigned. Our dental clinics provide preventive and restorative services for all ages, children, and adults. We focus on early screening for all children and sealants for school-age children. As a Dental Assistant in our Sealant Program, you will be responsible for traveling to various school districts within Pierce County, including areas as far as Enumclaw and Anderson Island. On days when sealant procedures are not being performed, you will be expected to assist at our Hilltop Clinic. We have a $1,500 Sign on Bonus available for this position.
