Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dentist during various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental assisting practices, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and sterile environment. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring that all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and ready for use. Maintain accurate medical records for each patient, including treatment plans and progress notes. Utilize dental software such as Dentrix Ascend for scheduling appointments and managing patient records. Ensure a clean and safe environment for both patients and staff. Educate patients on post-operative care, oral hygiene practices, and preventive measures to maintain their dental health. Requirements Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
