Position Overview:
This role assists with clinical procedures, prepares treatment rooms, ensures proper sterilization of instruments, and helps create a comfortable experience for patients. You will work closely with the doctor and dental team to maintain efficient workflow and excellent patient service.
Primary Responsibilities:
Assisting our dentists with expanded functions (prior experience preferred) Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms Take digital dental x-rays Digital scanning for digital impressions Building real connections with patients in a calm, welcoming setting Supporting smooth clinic operations with excellent clinical and computer skills Being a key part of a team that shows up with positivity and professionalism every day Work schedule involves splitting time between our Madison (Odana) and DeForest offices each week What we are looking for: Proven leadership experience within a dental office setting Demonstrate excellent interpersonal communication skills between co-workers, providers, patients, and affiliates Complete tasks efficiently and error free with attention to detail, including phone conversations and in-person interactions Perform daily functions using Desco, Dexis, Office 365, and office equipment
Preferred:
Knowledgeable in most aspects of dentistry, including dental terminology, scheduling based on flow of specified appointment type, treatment planning, cost of treatment and insurance benefits
Required:
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Preferred:
