Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Bilingual Dental Assistant who is fluent in both English and Spanish to join our vibrant dental team. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional patient care while supporting the clinical operations of our busy dental practice. Duties Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, prosthodontics, and endodontics Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments, materials, and supplies using aseptic techniques Take and develop X-rays and 3D scans while ensuring patient safety and comfort Provide chairside assistance with four-handed dentistry to improve efficiency and patient experience Record detailed medical and dental histories, vital signs, and medical documentation accurately in Dentrix Maintain infection control protocols and ensure all equipment adheres to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy Educate patients on oral hygiene practices in both English and Spanish, addressing their questions about procedures or post-treatment care Requirements Proven experience as a Dental Assistant with knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control, and aseptic techniques Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is essential for effective communication with diverse patient populations Familiarity with system such as Dentrix for managing medical records and documentation Ability to operate dental imaging equipment including X-ray machines and 3D scanners safely Knowledge of pediatric dentistry practices and pediatrics-specific procedures is preferred Strong understanding of medical coding, HIPAA compliance, and medical terminology related to dentistry Certification in radiography or X-ray technology is highly desirable Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to providing outstanding dental care!
