Job Description

Join our dynamic dental team at Market Place Dental as a Dental Receptionist/Dental Assistant, where your energy and enthusiasm will help create a welcoming environment for patients and support the seamless operation of our clinic. Must have experience and be able to jump right in where needed. This vital role combines front-office responsibilities with clinical assistance. We are looking for part-time, flexible hours, but will consider a full-time position for the right candidate. If you thrive in a multitasking environment and are passionate about patient care, this opportunity is perfect for you! We are an independent private practice with two approachable doctors that believe in quality over quantity and have been open for over 47 years. Duties Greet patients warmly, verify insurance information, and schedule appointments efficiently using Eaglesoft Answer incoming calls, confirm patient appointments, and help with preauthorization's Prepare treatment rooms for procedures, assist with four-handed dentistry techniques, and provide chairside support during various dental treatments Take and develop X-ray images while maintaining proper infection control protocols and aseptic techniques Operate dental equipment such as the Itero scanner and take alginate impressions Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment following infection control standards and ensure all dental tools are sterilized properly Qualifications Prior experience working in a dental clinic with knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy Knowledge of HIPAA compliance, infection control procedures, aseptic technique, and sterilization processes Ability to perform X-ray procedures accurately while adhering to safety standards Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with patients and team members Familiarity with general dentistry procedures is essential
