Our client, a premier private practice in Wisconsin Rapids, is looking for a Dental Assistant to join their dedicated team. This is a well-established role within a practice that prides itself on providing comprehensive, compassionate care to both adult and pediatric patients. Position Overview As a Dental Assistant, you will be the right hand of our doctors, ensuring every patient feels comfortable and every procedure runs seamlessly. You'll play a vital role in clinical support, patient education, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and organization.
Key Responsibilities Chairside Assisting:
Provide high-quality four-handed dentistry support during a variety of restorative and surgical procedures.
Patient Care:
Prepare treatment rooms, turn over rooms efficiently, and ensure patients (adult and pediatric) feel at ease.
Diagnostics:
Take high-quality dental radiographs and intraoral photos as directed.
Clinical Support:
Perform sterilization of instruments, manage infection control protocols (OSHA/HIPAA), and maintain dental equipment.
Lab & Impressions:
Take accurate impressions, pour models, and manage lab cases.
Documentation:
Maintain precise, timely clinical notes and patient records.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the Doctors and Hygienists to ensure a smooth flow of care throughout the day.
Qualifications Experience:
Previous experience as a Dental Assistant in a private practice setting preferred.
Certifications:
Active CPR/BLS certification is required.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in digital X-rays and modern dental software.
Soft Skills:
Strong communication skills, a professional demeanor, and a team-first mentality.
Reliability:
A consistent, dependable professional who takes pride in their work.
Pay:
$24.00 - $26.00 per hour
