Experienced Dental Assistant

Wyoming Cosmetic and Family Dental is seeking a full‑time, experienced Dental Assistant to join our professional and patient‑focused dental team. We are a modern cosmetic and family dental practice committed to providing high‑quality care in a positive, supportive environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail‑oriented, and passionate about patient care. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist the dentist during general, cosmetic, and family dental procedures Prepare treatment rooms and maintain proper sterilization and infection control standards Take and process dental X‑rays Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date patient records Provide chairside assistance and ensure patient comfort Educate patients on post‑treatment and oral health care Maintain instruments, supplies, and operatory cleanliness Support overall clinic flow and assist team members as needed Required Skills and Qualifications 1-2+ years of dental assisting experience preferred Dental Assistant certification per Wyoming requirements Current X‑ray certification in the State of Wyoming. Knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and instruments Understanding of OSHA and infection control protocols, and HIPAA regulations. Strong communication and interpersonal skills Professional, positive, and team‑oriented attitude Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced clinical environment Preferred Qualifications Experience in Dentrix, Dexis, and Pearl Software CRP certification Basic phone and front office skills. Schedule Monday-Thursday with alternating Friday and Saturdays. A balanced mix of daytime, evening, and weekend hours available.
