Dental Hygienist

Soldotna Dental Clinic is seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist to join our work family! The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and a commitment to providing high-quality dental care. Responsibilities include dental cleanings, taking X-rays, and educating patients on proper oral hygiene. Requirements include a degree in dental hygiene and a valid state license. Ideally we are looking to hire one full time and one part time hygienist. Responsibilities Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patient oral health. Review and document patient medical histories, including vital signs. Utilize Eaglesoft for patient records management. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. Implement infection control protocols to ensure a safe treatment environment. Maintain accurate documentation of treatment plans and patient progress. Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment. Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality. Requirements Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist. Strong knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy. Familiarity with documentation review processes and infection control standards. Experience with Eaglesoft software is preferred but not mandatory. Ability to take vital signs accurately and efficiently. Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient education. A team-oriented attitude with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
