Dental Hygienist

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and safety. This position requires a thorough understanding of dental terminology, aseptic techniques, and patient care protocols within a dental clinic setting. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. Assist in the development of individualized treatment plans based on patient needs. Utilize medical imaging technologies to capture and interpret diagnostic images. Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to provide optimal patient care. Ensure the sterilization of instruments and adherence to aseptic techniques throughout procedures. Stay updated on advancements in pediatric dentistry and dental practices. Experience Candidates should possess the following skills and experience: Proficient knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy. Experience in a dental clinic environment is preferred. Familiarity with Dentrix software for managing patient records is a plus. Background in pediatric dentistry is advantageous for working with younger patients. Understanding of medical imaging techniques related to dentistry. Strong commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
