Job Description

Overview Join our dental team as a Registered Dental Hygienist and play an important role in providing exceptional patient care! In this energetic and rewarding position you will utilize your expertise to promote oral health, perform thorough cleanings, and support overall patient well-being. Duties Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup Conduct patient assessments by taking vital signs and reviewing medical histories to ensure safe treatment plans Assist with chairside procedures such as applying fluoride treatments and sealants while maintaining aseptic techniques Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to promote long-term dental health Utilize Dentrix dental software systems for accurate documentation of patient records and treatment notes Support infection control protocols by sterilizing instruments, managing medical imaging, and adhering to HIPAA regulations Experience Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist in a general dental practice is preferred Familiarity with Dentrix software Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control procedures Prior exposure to dental assisting tasks, including chairside assisting and documentation review, is advantageous Ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations while demonstrating excellent patient care skills Certification in dental hygiene from an accredited program and current licensure in good standing are required
Pay:
$58.95 - $71.00 per hour
