Dental Hygienist Serene Dental - 4.0 Fremont, CA Job Details Full-time $65 - $75 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications CPR Certification BLS Certification Full Job Description We are a PPO, fee-for-service dental office in Fremont established since 1998. We are looking for a hygienist to work with our friendly doctor and the team. We offer working flexibility and good pay based on experience Qualified candidates should have: 3+ years experience. Good communication skills. Hygiene Degree from accredited school. Current California license required. Current CPR certification required OSHA and HIPAA compliant. Proactive, detail-oriented & friendly personality. Dentrix experience is a plus.
Hygienist Duties and Requirements:
Gathering patient information and health background. Pulling up patient dental and relevant medical history to refer to during examination. Preparing patients for a dentist. Providing patient care and support. Educating patients on good oral hygiene habits. Taking X-Rays and following all safety procedures as required. Examining mouth for gingivitis, periodontal, or other oral diseases. Cleaning patient teeth to remove plaque, polishing teeth, and flossing. Preparing the work area for procedures. Sterilizing dental instruments and equipment. Updating patient records and examination notes in patient management software.
