Role Overview:

We are seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate is dependable, patient-focused, and confident in their clinical skills. Our schedule is well-structured, allowing appropriate time for each appointment, and giving you moderate leeway over your own hours within our standard working days.

Responsibilities:

• Perform dental hygiene procedures, including but not limited to teeth cleaning, scaling, and polishing
• Take and develop dental x-rays
• Conduct oral health assessments and screenings
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized recommendations for home care
• Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed
• Assist the dentist during procedures and maintain a sterile working environment
• Document patient treatment plans, progress notes, and other relevant information in electronic medical coding systems such as Curve, Dentrix, or Eaglesoft
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care

Qualifications:

• Valid state dental hygiene license
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
• Knowledge of dental coding systems for accurate documentation and billing purposes
• Familiarity with digital radiography and intraoral imaging technology
• Excellent communication skills to effectively educate and interact with patients of all ages
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
