Job Description

Dental Hygienist (Part-Time) Livermore, CA We are a family-oriented general dental practice located in Livermore, CA, dedicated to providing gentle, efficient, and compassionate dental care in a traditional practice setting. Our goal is to create a comfortable and positive experience for both our patients and team.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dependable and skilled Part-Time Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about patient care. This role involves delivering high-quality preventive dental services while educating patients on maintaining optimal oral health.
Schedule:
  • Thursdays:
    8:00 AM
  • 5:00 PM
  • Fridays:
    8:00 AM
  • 4:00 PM
  • Open to candidates available one or both days
  • Approximately up to 16 hours per week
Compensation:
  • $65.00
  • $75.
00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform dental cleanings and oral examinations
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
  • Take digital dental x-rays
  • Maintain accurate patient records using digital charting systems
  • Provide preventive treatments including fluoride applications and sealants
  • Remove deposits and stains using hand and ultrasonic instruments
  • Administer local and topical anesthetics when needed for periodontal procedures
Qualifications:
  • Experience in general dentistry (pediatric experience a plus)
  • Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
  • Familiarity with infection control and aseptic techniques
  • Experience with dental software (Dentrix preferred)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Location Requirement:
