Job Description

Job Summary We are looking for a full-time Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dental team. We are a well-established, technology forward, private practice that provides high quality, state-of- the-art dentistry to our wonderful patients. We are an exceptional team of welcoming individuals, who work happily together to provide our patients with the best in dental care. Duties Dental cleanings:
including removing plaque, calculus, and stains.
Patient assessments:
perform comprehensive examination of gums, teeth, and soft tissues.
Patient x-rays Periodontal treatment:
non-surgical periodontal treatments, scaling and root planning to treat gum disease. Screen and document periodontal measurements to update the progress of treatment.
Patient education:
educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, brushing, flossing, and cleaning techniques. Make recommendations for oral care products and preventive measures for best oral health.
Patient records:
maintain patient records accurately, document assessments, interventions, and patient education efforts in accordance with legal and professional standards.
Collaboration:
ensure politeness and clear communication with patients, co-workers, and other office staff. Collaborate with dentists and other members of the dental team to develop comprehensive treatment plans and coordinate care for patients. Effectively communicate findings, recommendations, and referrals to ensure continuity of care. Qualifications Valid licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist in accordance with state licensing requirements. Knowledge of general principles of dentistry and advanced knowledge of dental hygiene. Knowledge of dental surgery and associated procedures, terminology and techniques. Familiarity with dental software, Dentrix is preferred. Must wear loupes.
Pay:
$50.00 - $60.00 per hour
