Job Summary Join our dynamic dental team as a Registered Dental Hygienist and play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and maintaining optimal oral health. In this energetic and rewarding position, you will utilize your expertise in dental hygiene, patient assessment, and infection control to create a positive experience for every patient. Your skills in dental terminology, medical imaging, and documentation review will ensure accurate records and seamless clinic operations. We are seeking a motivated professional committed to promoting healthy smiles through comprehensive hygiene services within a friendly, patient-focused environment. Responsibilities Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing, to remove plaque and tartar buildup. Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories and current dental conditions. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options to enhance their understanding of oral health. Take and interpret medical imaging such as X-rays while adhering to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using EMR system Eaglesoft ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Review documentation for accuracy and update dental charts Requirements Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist with current certification to practice. Proven experience in dental office settings, preferably within general dentistry or pediatric dentistry environments. Proficiency with dental software systems such as Eaglesoft; familiarity with EMR systems is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control procedures, and aseptic techniques. Ability to perform chairside assisting tasks efficiently while maintaining excellent patient care standards.
