Full Job Description Responsibilities:

• Need a team player hygienist for Fridays. Could add more days in future .
• Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning teeth, removing plaque and tartar, and applying fluoride treatments
• use open dental
• use NOmad for dental x-rays
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral care instructions
• Conduct patient assessments, including taking vital signs and recording medical history
• Assist the dentist during procedures, such as dental fillings or extractions
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using dental office software (such as Epic) and ensure compliance with medical documentation standards
• Follow strict infection control protocols to maintain a safe and clean dental environment

Experience:

• Minimum of 2years of experience as a dental hygienist
• Proficiency in using dental office software (such as Epic) for scheduling appointments and managing patient records
• Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry
• Familiarity with dental assisting techniques and procedures
• Strong understanding of infection control protocols in a dental setting

Requirements:

• Valid state dental hygiene license
• CPR certification
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other dental professionals
