This role includes preparing patients for treatment, performing dental cleanings, and supporting the clinical team with accurate documentation and efficient chairside care. The ideal candidate is compassionate, detail-oriented, and committed to patient education—helping patients understand their oral health and take meaningful steps toward long-term wellness. Key Responsibilities Perform professional dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing, and provide preventive oral care services. Take and record patient vital information as needed, and assist with examinations per clinic protocols. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, treatment recommendations, and personalized care plans. Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and support smooth patient flow within the practice. Take and develop high-quality X-rays as needed for diagnosis and treatment planning. Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment in compliance with infection control protocols. Required Qualifications Valid Dental Hygienist license in California. Associate's degree in dental hygiene or higher from an accredited program. Demonstrated experience providing preventive dental care, including cleanings and patient education. Strong understanding of infection control, safety procedures, and clinical best practices. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with patients. Ability to work full-time onsite and support a fast-paced, team-oriented clinical environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience in a general dentistry or patient-centered practice setting. Comfort collaborating with dentists and assisting with treatment coordination and follow-up. A track record of strong patient satisfaction through clear education and compassionate care. Experience maintaining organized clinical records and supporting efficient appointment scheduling. Proficiency in taking digital X-rays and familiarity with dental software. Why Join Us?
