Position Summary The Dental Hygienist serves as a primary preventive care provider, delivering high-quality clinical treatment while educating and empowering patients to achieve optimal oral and overall health. This role is ideal for clinicians who want to be fully engaged in comprehensive dentistry, contribute meaningfully to treatment planning, and build strong, lasting patient relationships. Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Care Perform dental cleanings, periodontal maintenance, and scaling and root planing (SRP) Conduct comprehensive periodontal assessments (probing, recession, mobility, furcation) Identify periodontal disease and restorative concerns Take, process, and evaluate diagnostic radiographs Perform head, neck, and oral cancer screenings Utilize intraoral technology to support diagnosis and patient education Apply preventive treatments and support doctor-led treatment planning Patient Care & Education Review and maintain accurate medical and clinical histories Educate patients on oral hygiene, periodontal health, and treatment recommendations Clearly communicate clinical findings and treatment needs Build trust and support patients in achieving better long-term health outcomes Deliver a comfortable, positive patient experience at every visit Operational Excellence Maintain strict compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control standards Accurately chart clinical notes and treatment documentation Support efficient patient flow and continuity of care Collaborate closely with doctors and clinical team members

Compensation & Schedule Pay:

$51 - $61 per hour

3-6 month temporary assignment or permanent position Clinical Scope This is a comprehensive, modern dental practice where hygienists are part of advanced patient care, including: Preventive and restorative dentistry Implant care and full-mouth rehabilitation IV sedation procedures Botox and dermal filler treatments Airway and sleep therapy for adults and children What We're Looking For Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license ( Colorado required ) Current CPR/BLS certification Strong clinical skills, especially in periodontal therapy Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced clinical environment Strong communication and patient education abilities Team-oriented, professional, and patient-centered approach Working Conditions & Physical Requirements Combination of sitting and standing throughout the day Frequent bending, twisting, and repetitive hand movements Strong manual dexterity required Clinical environment with moderate noise levels Continuous close patient interaction Why Join Castle Peak Dental & Avon Dental?
