Our current hygienist is moving out of state beginning of October and looking to have the new candidate onboard end of September to ensure a smooth transition. We are a small practice in the heart of Denver. Our team is hard working, values work-life balance and fosters a low stress and caring environment for our patients. We are privately owned and operated and are rapidly growing. We are looking for someone who is fun loving, upbeat and has a good sense of humor. The ideal candidate will provide quality oral care instruction and hygiene services to our patients, contributing to their overall dental health. We also enjoy office team building activities that we typically brainstorm together. We have done everything from a book club to a smash room and are always open to new suggestions! We provide free, reserved, covered parking in our building for employees.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform dental prophylaxis cleanings, scaling and root planning.
  • Diagnose and perform laser assisted periodontal therapy (Picasso Lite Diode Laser)
  • Conduct oral cancer screenings
  • Take digital x-rays and Trios scans
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices
  • Administer fluoride treatments
  • Assist in sterilization
  • Maintain accurate patient records including full periodontal charting
  • Actively participate in morning huddles and monthly team meetings
Skills:
  • Proficiency in digital dental imaging
  • Experience with Eaglesoft or similar dental software
  • Knowledge of dental anatomy
  • Skill in patient assessment, co-diagnosis and treatment planning
