In this role, you'll provide comprehensive dental hygiene services, promote oral health education, and support the overall success of our dental practice. Your expertise will help ensure our patients receive top-quality care in a clean, safe, and welcoming setting.
Responsibilities:
Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing. Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories to ensure safe treatment procedures Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies Utilize Dentrix software for accurate documentation of treatments and medical records Follow strict infection control protocols, including aseptic techniques and sterilization procedures Take and interpret medical imaging, including X-rays, to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning Review documentation for accuracy, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical coding standards Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Dental Hygienist with current CPR certification Proficiency in Dentrix is preferred but not required Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and medical terminology Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients and collaborate with team members Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality at all times Join us to make a positive impact on our patients' oral health while advancing your career in a supportive environment that values your skills and dedication!
