Registered Dental Hygienist Full Job Description About Us:
Burnside Dental Care is a privately owned dental practice with three established locations in East Hartford, Hartford, and Berlin. We are committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centered care in a welcoming and professional environment. Our team values collaboration, clinical excellence, and long-term relationships with our patients and staff.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a licensed Dental Hygienist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is compassionate, detail-oriented, and dedicated to delivering high-quality preventive care while educating patients on maintaining optimal oral health. Opportunities are available at one or more of our locations, depending on candidate preference and availability.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine dental cleanings and periodontal maintenance Conduct oral health assessments and document findings Take and review dental radiographs Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care Assist the dentist with exams and treatment planning Maintain accurate clinical documentation Follow OSHA and infection control protocols
Qualifications:
Active Connecticut Dental Hygienist license Current CPR certification Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment Experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
