Temporary Registered Dental Hygienist

Needed ASAP through June 5, 2026 Flanagan Dental is seeking a temporary Registered Dental Hygienist to join our private dental practice in Mystic, CT. We are looking for coverage as soon as possible through June 5, 2026 . This is a great opportunity for a hygienist who is patient-focused, reliable, and looking to work in a professional, supportive dental office. While this is currently a temporary position through June 5, 2026 , the role could possibly open doors for a future permanent position as our practice continues to grow. Position Details We are looking for a Connecticut-licensed Registered Dental Hygienist to provide high-quality hygiene care, patient education, periodontal maintenance, digital X-rays, charting, and preventive services. Temporary coverage is needed immediately and is expected to run through June 5, 2026 . The schedule may be flexible depending on availability. Responsibilities Provide dental hygiene treatment and preventive care Take digital X-rays as needed Perform periodontal charting and documentation Educate patients on oral hygiene and recommended care Review medical histories and update patient records Work closely with the dentist and clinical team Maintain infection control and OSHA compliance standards Help create a positive, comfortable patient experience Qualifications Active Connecticut Registered Dental Hygienist license required Local anesthesia certification preferred, but not required Strong communication and patient care skills Reliable, professional, and team-oriented Denticon experience is a plus, but not required Schedule This is a temporary position needed ASAP through June 5, 2026 . We are open to discussing availability and scheduling needs, including part-time or per diem temporary coverage.
