Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Hygienist and play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care! Duties Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments, ensuring optimal oral health for each patient Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions to inform treatment plans Assist with chairside procedures such as taking dental radiographs (medical imaging) and preparing patients for treatments Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to promote long-term dental health Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Eaglesoft, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations Follow strict infection control protocols, including aseptic techniques and sterilization procedures, to uphold safety standards Collaborate with dentists and other team members in delivering comprehensive general dentistry services, including pediatric dentistry when applicable Requirements Valid Dental Hygienist license in accordance with state regulations Proven experience in dental office settings with familiarity in dental terminology and documentation review Proficiency with EMR systems such as Eaglesoft preferred Strong knowledge of infection control practices, anatomy, medical terminology, and medical coding Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to diverse patient populations including pediatrics Knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards and medical records management Prior experience in general dentistry or dental clinic environments is highly desirable Embark on a fulfilling career where your skills make a real difference! 8 AM-5
PM Friday:
8 AM-3
PM Pay:
$40.00 - $45.00 per hour
