Registered Dental Hygienist Radiology Certification Full Job Description Job Description:
Dr. Anthony Dundee's dental practice is looking for a registered dental hygienist to join the team. We are seeking someone who is reliable and energetic with great communication skills. This is a part-time position working 1-2 days a week. Our dental hygienists see one patient per hour, with a total of eight patients per day.Qualifications:
- Valid state license
- Excellent patient communication and education skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient care
- Proficient in taking digital x-rays and charting
- Working knowledge of Dentrix dental software
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Local anesthesia certification (bonus)
- CPR/BLS certification
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive dental cleanings
- Take and interpret high-quality dental X-rays
- Communicate and educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
- Conduct oral health assessments and charting
- Maintain sterilizations protocols and infection control
- Assist the dental team with patient care
