Registered Dental Hygienist Radiology Certification Full Job Description Job Description:
Dr. Anthony Dundee's dental practice is looking for a registered dental hygienist to join the team. We are seeking someone who is reliable and energetic with great communication skills. This is a part-time position working 1-2 days a week. Our dental hygienists see one patient per hour, with a total of eight patients per day.
Qualifications:
  • Valid state license
  • Excellent patient communication and education skills
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient care
  • Proficient in taking digital x-rays and charting
  • Working knowledge of Dentrix dental software
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Local anesthesia certification (bonus)
  • CPR/BLS certification
  • Strong knowledge of infection control protocols
Responsibilities:
  • Perform comprehensive dental cleanings
  • Take and interpret high-quality dental X-rays
  • Communicate and educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
  • Conduct oral health assessments and charting
  • Maintain sterilizations protocols and infection control
  • Assist the dental team with patient care
