In this role, you will provide essential preventive and therapeutic dental care to our diverse patient population, with a strong focus on education, disease prevention, and patient-centered care. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, scaling, root planing, and periodontal maintenance. Conduct oral health assessments, including taking X-rays and documenting patient histories. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene, preventive care, and the impact of dental health on overall well-being. Work closely with dentists and other team members to develop and implement personalized treatment plans. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with clinic policies and regulations. Ensure infection control protocols are followed, including sterilization and proper handling of dental instruments. Stay updated on the latest advancements in dental hygiene practices and technology.

QUALIFICATIONS

Licensure:

Must hold an active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in

Florida Experience:

Previous experience in a nonprofit, public health, or community dental setting is a plus but not required.

Skills:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team-oriented environment, and a passion for patient education.

Certifications:

CPR/BLS certification required. Local anesthesia certification is preferred.

Technology:

Experience with electronic dental records (Dentrix) is preferred.

TIME COMMITMENT

• Work 8-hour day shift/ 5 days a week
• After hours events as needed

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Sitting, standing, walking, bending, reaching, stooping, and climbing is required.

• Walking and standing on uneven surfaces.
• Must have a valid, clean driving record to fulfill company travel requirements.
