Job Description

As a Registered Dental Hygienist on our team, you'll play a vital role in delivering top-notch oral health services in a supportive and innovative environment. As a Registered Dental Hygienist you will provide preventive oral health care by performing cleanings, screenings, and patient education while supporting the dentist in maintaining high standards of clinical care. The role focuses on promoting oral health, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining accurate clinical records in compliance with state regulations.
What You Will Do:
Patient screening procedures such as assessment of oral health conditions, review of health history, oral cancer screening, head and neck inspection, dental charting and experience taking blood pressure and pulse count. Taking digital x-rays. Removing calculus and plaque from all surfaces of the teeth. Applying preventive materials to the teeth. Patient instruction on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health. Counseling patients about good nutrition and its impact on oral health. Charting in dental charting system.
What We Require:
Florida dental hygiene license/active status. Three Years of Experience, preferred. CPR/AED certification, current.
